The Business

My wife, Bo, and I established English College Services in 2004. We have been assisting clients just like you realize their dreams and achieve their goals ever since. We use proven educational techniques in our instruction and concentrate on building confidence, motivation, focus, and problem solving skills. We also share successful strategies with you so that you can succeed on your own. Our friendly, warm, and enthusiastic personalities create a safe and supportive atmosphere for everyone.

The Founders

    I received a B.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin where I also attended graduate school. After completing my education, I spent twenty-three years working in various departments of the United States Government to include the U.S. Department of State.
   I am a certified Teacher of English as a Second Language. In addition to teaching at a military academy in Arizona, I have been teaching at various colleges and universities throughout China since 2003. Besides oral English classes, I have taught American History, U.S. Government, Western Culture, Business English, and TOEFL and IELTS preparation classes. As an instructor for Fort Hays State University, I have taught classes in Business Ethics and English Composition (essay writing).
   Bo received her B.A. in English from Hei Longjiang University and her M.A. in Education from Shenyang Normal University. Additionally, she has two years of overseas living experience, is TEM8 certified, and has been teaching College English and New Concept English I and II at various colleges and universities in China for several years. She has also worked as a translator.
